Bart’s man

MARLOW boss Mark Bartley says key centre back Baboucarr Jarra’s move to rivals Uxbridge came with his blessing.

Fans’ favourite Jarra joined the cluib from Beaconsfield Town earlier this season and proved a huge hit.

But after a seven-day approach from Uxbridge this week, he’s now back on the move.

Bartley said: “Although it’s only been a short stay, I have nothing but admiration and appreciation for the way he has performed and conducted himself whilst he was with the club. As we all know, in football, sometimes things we’d planned and he moves on to Uxbridge with my blessing and the utmost respect for him as a player and a man.”
