■ GOALS from two of Herne Bay’s ex-Hythe players settled an entertaining and tight match.
Hythe will feel somewhat hard done by, seeing excellent strikes from Tyler Sterling and Luka Woodhouse strike the woodwork either side of half-time. Bay’s Laurence Harvey opened the scoring after 14 minutes, hammering home a loose ball at a corner.
Sterling’s lovely chip then hit the inside of a post, before an equally fine strike from Hythe debutant, Luca Woodhouse, made it 1-1. What turned out to be the winner came after 36 minutes, a lo...
