MARLOW snatched the points to two late strikes by Devontae Romeo.
The first half was an even contest, with Nnamdi Nwachuku going closest as the visiting striker’s low shot was blocked by Jack Hopwood’s legs.
In the second period, Thatcham duo Glenn Gabriel and Lamar Koroma both saw goal-bound shots blocked for corners.
The Kingfishers went close when Simeon Weekes helped on a ball which Alex Miller raced on to, but his 30-yarder came back off a post.
