■ WITTON Albion can be satisfied with a draw after recovering from a losing position for the first time on home turf this season.
Their goal, scored by Callum Saunders following clever approach play by Joe Ferguson, deserved a reward too.
The home team began brightly and Gainsborough custodian Matt Yates stretched fully to divert Will Jones’ header to safety.
