WINGATE ON TOP IN BIG BASEMENT BATTLE

ANTONIS Vasiliou’s debut goal gave Wingate & Finchley a crucial win over Bowers & Pitsea in their bottom of the table clash.
Vasiliou opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time as he tapped in during a melee following a corner.
Tyrique Clarke then secured the points, finishing coolly into a vacant Bowers goal in the third minute of stoppage time.
Wingate move up into 16th with the win, whilst Bowers & Pitsea languish in 18th.
