THE FORGOTTEN man of Meadow Lane got Notts County out of FA Trophy jail against an unfortunate Eastleigh.
Eli Sam, the unpredictable striker who has barely had a kick all season, is fondly remembered by Notts fans for his wonder goal in a Trophy tie against Oxford City.
And here he added to his label as a cup specialist by netting twice as Ian Burchnall’s side recovered from an early setback to win in slightly unconvincing fashion.
