MORPETH Town made the last-16 of the FA Trophy for the first time in their 128-year history with a thrilling victory over Boston United at Craik Park.

An outstanding contest ebbed and flowed as the Highwaymen went toe-to-toe with their National League North opponents.
Boston started the brighter of the two and took the lead in the ninth minute when Jake Wright Jnr tapped in from a yard out after Danny Elliott had taken advantage of indecision in the Town defence.
