MORPETH ran out shock winners over a strong Buxton side, who were made to pay for their missed opportunities at Craik Park.
The visitors fashioned some good yet were unable to properly test Dan Lowson in the Highwaymen’s goal before being punished by goals from Liam Henderson, Liam Noble’s penalty and an own-goal from Josh Granite.
Chances were at a premium in the first half with Jamie Ward wasting the best opportunity when he blazed high over the bar from ten yards.
