■ MARINE returned to winning ways after goals from Danny Shaw, Lewis Reilly, Mark Howarth and Ben Hughes secured a win over struggling Kendal.
Shaw opened the scoring after 30 minutes, after meeting James Barrigan’s corner and firing a header past James McClenaghan.
Reilly doubled the Mariners’ lead shortly after, nodding in from close range following another dangerous Barrigan delivery.
Akiel Raffie gave Kendal fans hope on the stroke of half-time after curling in a superb free-kick.
