■ SITTINGBOURNE kept up their impressive home record with a hard fought win inspired by the returning Harry Stannard.
The young winger who has only just returned to action after contracting Covid-19 opened the scoring at the end of a tight first half with a thunderous shot that flew past keeper Henry Newcombe.
The Hythe keeper was unlucky not to keep out Taylor Fisher’s header before half time as the defender got on the end of a great Stannard cross.
