MARSH SPOT ON TO KEEP RUN GOING

AN Alex Marsh penalty 12 minutes from time edged a hard-fought win over Waltham Abbey at The Eyrie.
All looked to be going with the form book when Ryan Inskip converted a fine pass from Alex Marsh in the 14th minute, but The Abbotts finished the half strongly and were unlucky not to go in level.
FC got back on top after break, but Darnell Goather-Braithwaite levelled for the visitors with a sizzling strike that beat Jack Berman at his near post from a tight angle.
