■ THIS was a classic gameof two halves, Bideford dominating the first but Highworth reorganising after the break to smother Bideford.
Bideford started off well and after eight minutes Craig Duff had a goal-bound shot deflected wide. Two minutes later they took the lead when Javan Wright threaded a through ball to Theo Simpson, who calmly slotted home.
With 18 minutes gone, Highworth keeper Connor Johns collided with one of his defenders and the ball flew straight to Bideford’s Toby Down, who headed it home.
