BASFORD UNITED’S indifferent form continued as they slipped to defeat at home to Morpeth Town.
Paddy Webb put Mark Clifford’s men in front at the break with a fine strike before a brace from Callum Morris sealed the win for the Northumbrians.
A similar story to their previous outings, United battered their visitors but failed to trouble Dan Lowson in the Town goal as they saw chance after chance go begging.
