FINALE SEES TWO SENT OFF

HYDE UNITED 1 BUXTON 2

BUXTON prevailed in a tight affair at the Project Solar Stadium.
Both sides were coming into the game in poor form, with neither having won any of their last five league matches. Storm Malik caused problems in the opening half-hour with neither keeper having any saves to make, however, once both sides handled the conditions the game opened up.
Either team could have gone in at half-time ahead. Liam Tongue and Chinedu Uche had attempts cleared in the Buxton box, whereas Chris Dawson put a header over the top of the Hyde United bar.
