MERSTHAM’S faithful have seen very few goalless games, but this was a very entertaining game from start to finish and both sides will think they could have won it.
Merstham probably shaded the first twenty minutes, but without creating any clear-cut chances.
And, gradually, play-off contenders Kingstonian began to gain control, but neither side could carve out a real opportunity.
The closest was a Fabio Saraiva free kick from 30 yards, that forced Merstham keeper Toby Bull into a spectacular save.
