HEDNESFORD came from behind to win with two goals in a minute in the second half after Hitchin had taken the lead with a cunning goal scored by Steve Cawley, who had already hit the underside of the bar.
Another close call was Matthew Moloney’s strike that hit the post.
The Pitmen rallied and Andre Landell’s fierce shot brought a wonder save by Charlie Horlock, but he was relieved as Landell’s header hit the bar.
