■ SUTTON took the points in a crucial match against fellow relegation strugglers Wisbech.
The visitors started the game brighter and only a diving save at the feet of Enoch Opayinka by Jono Brown kept the scores even. Sutton’s best effort came when James Beresford picked up the ball in his own half and tore through the midfi eld before shooting wide of a post.
Sutton took the lead in the 42nd minute when debut boy Colvin Ellis outjumped the Wisbech defence to head home.
