■ IT was a disappointing afternoon for Tadcaster who fell to defeat after two second-half goals from Joe Lumsden and Luke Hinsley.
For the majority of the game there wasn’t much between the two sides, the visitors drew first blood on the hour mark through Lumsden’s looping header, that the first effort on target all match.
Buoyed by the goal, Ponte continued to push and put themselves two ahead just over ten minutes later, a long throw caused problems in the Tad box and Hinsley was on hand to fire in.
