■ RAMSBOTTOM created the first chance when Aron Fleming found himself free, but Town keeper Joe Slinn saved well, before Ryan Baxter was just wide with a looping header for Castle.
Tom Stewart saved well from Ethan Vale as Newcastle came into the game. Town took the lead when Tommy Van Der Laan headed home a free-kick from Vale. Castle almost doubled their lead when Jake Lovett hit the bar and then Ryan Baxter forced a save from Stewart.
