THE 83rd-minute dismissal of Dorchester midfielder Tom Purrington for a tackle from behind on Tiverton’s Jordan Lam proved to be the turning point in this match.
Leading from Alfie Stanley’s 59th-minute header, the ten-man Magpies could not prevent Aaron Dawson firing home an equaliser as Tivvy surged back and came close to clinching victory.
Gary Warren headed the first chance over for the visitors, before Olaf Koszela fired wide of an open goal for Dorchester.
