SALISBURY held highflying Hayes and Yeading to a draw and thoroughly deserved a hard earned point.
In the first half, neither side could establish any sustained pressure and chances and excitement were very scarce.
Darren Mullings cleared off the Salisbury line after 13 minutes. From the counter, Calvin Brooks broke down the right and crossed into the box and Antonio Diaz had his powerful goal-bound header on the six-yard line parried away.
