■ WORKINGTON extended their unbeaten run to 13 games with victory over Mossley.
A goal in each half gave them their 12th win and Bootle, the only team to take a point in that run, are their next opponents on Tuesday night.
The leaders could have scored in the first minute, but skipper Brad Carroll could not get enough on his shot and it was straight at Dale Latham.
They had to wait until the 40th minute when their best passing move ended with Brad Hubbold firing a ball across Latham and Ruben Jerome steered home at the far post.
