■ BEDFORD ran out com-fort winners at the Eyrie.
The home side were on the front foot from the start when Connor Tomlinson netted after just 37 seconds, with Rene Howe dispatching a penalty four minutes later.
Before the 15-minute mark was up, Charley Sanders made it 3-0 with an unstoppable shot from inside the area.
Howe then had a header cleared off the line, and an offside flag denied a fourth for Hugh Alban Jones.
FC pulled a goal back in the 37th minute with a Zenon Stylianides penalty.
