PAUL COOK’S Chesterfield return was overshadowed by a serious-looking leg injury to star striker Kabongo Tshimanga.
The Spireites’ 25-goal top scorer was taken to hospital following a heavy challenge late in their National League draw at Weymouth and there are fears his season could be over.
Former Portsmouth, Wigan Athletic and Ipswich Town boss Cook was unveiled as Chesterfield boss earlier this week following James Rowe’s departure, seven years after his first stay when he led the club to the League Two title.
