■ PHOENIX Sports came out on top of their in their relegation six-pointer at home to Whitstable Town.
Alfie Evans first tested the visiting keeper from distance before Dan Eason again saved well from Bertie Valler.
Wale Odedoyin had a couple of half chances for Phoenix, but couldn’t convert and the teams went in all-square at the break.
Whitstable came out well in the second half and headers from Harry Goodger and Kemo Darboe brought good saves from Steve Phillips.
