KINGS LANGLEY moved out of the bottom three by beating Merthyr Town with a solitary goal at Met Coaches Stadium.
It’s looking like an impossible rescue job for new interim player manager Matthew Harris as the Martyrs are now 13 points from safety with 11 games to play.
After seven minutes, Eli Phipps headed just over the Kings Langley crossbar.
In the 14th minute, the Kings launched a quick counter-attack, but Eitel Goueth fired just too high.
