REGARDING the letter from Ray Ellis (NLP, Feb 13) about Angels’ captain Sonny Miles making a record 377 appearances for the club, congratulations are in order, but it is a long way from a national record.
We could start the bidding with Ray Burgess and Nigel Ransom of Welling United, both of whom made over 1,000 appearances.
Admittedly not all were in senior games as Welling start...
