■ GUERNSEY returned home with a fine victory.
Thatcham began brightly as Cameron Rohart-Brown’s corner curled into the Back of the net, but the referee disallowed the goal for a foul on visiting keeper Lucas Hanley.
Guernsey then took the lead as Jacob Fallaize headed home Keiran Mahon’s freekick at the far post.
The Kingfishers almost levelled as Simeon Weekes headed Rohart-Brown’s freekick against the post, before Thatcham missed a penalty through Harvey Harry.
