PENYBONT may have left it late to get through to the semi-finals of the Welsh Cup last weekend, but they struck early in the final round of matches in the first phase of the JD Cymru Premier to consolidate their runners-up spot.
Nathan Wood came up with his sixth league goal of the season, in the second minute to put his side in front against Flint Town United, but the ever-dependable Michael Wilde levelled with a penalty 35 minutes later.
