LIFE can certainly be harsh when you are near the bottom as Lowestoft found out when Nathan Tshikuna’s 91st-minute free-kick found the corner of the net to deny them a deserved point against play off chasing AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
The Trawlerboys had fallen behind somewhat against the play when a deceptive bounce flat footed Josh Wells to allow
Connor Furlong to shoot past Luis Tibbles six minutes before the break.
Lowestoft might well have been two goals up by then but Jake Reed failed to convert early chances.
