DOVER took an early lead in the game through Alfie Pavey but goals from top goalscorer Billy Waters and Matty Warburton saw the Shaymen go home with all three points.
Halifax stay fourth in the table with Dover rooted to the bottom.
Town boss Pete Wild insisted that the match was never going to be a foregone conclusion despite Dover’s lowly status.
He said: “They are tough games so well done to Dover...
