MITCHELL TAIT’S thunderbolt sealed a deserved point for Basford United against South Shields at Greenwich Avenue.
Darius Osei gave Kevin Phillips’ side a 23rd-minute opener with a decent finish, but Tait’s strike –a first in United colours – ensured a draw.
Shields travelled to Nottingham with an up-and-down away form, but started strong on the 3G surface.
