WARRINGTON had to fight all the way before two goals in two second-half minutes slammed the door on a spirited Celtic.
For long periods of the game it was hard to tell which side was flying high as Celtic dominated possession. However, they were noticeably short of a cutting edge and their commendable effort was ultimately for nothing.
Town took the lead after six minutes when Celtic stopper Grant Shenton crashed into defender Keenan Quansah at the edge of the box as he attempted to punch clear.
