FOLKESTONE maintained their play-off push with a narrow victory at bottom half Bowers.
But their day was overshadowed by an horrific injury to full-back Jordan Wright in a third-minute challenge with Bowers’ Jamie Dicks.
The game was held up for 15 minutes as Wright was treated.
And a shaken Invicta fell behind in the 25th minute when Lewis Manor headed home Josh Rusoke’s cross.
Bowers look set to take that lead into half-time, but Invicta equalised on 45 minutes in comical circumstances.
