■TWO late goals handed Bootle an away win at Newcastle Town.
Bootle settled the quickest and Luke Dennis scrambled the ball away before Eden Bailey and James Askey brought good saves from keeper Theo Roberts.
Neither side was able to get on top but Roberts brought off a terrific save to deny Declan McLoghlin’s header.
A fine run by Eden Bailey saw Jake Lovatt hit the bar and Jack Van Der Laan had a shot deflected wide.
The visitors took the lead in the 80th minute when Jack McGowan forced the ball home.
