■HARLOW edged ascrappy game thanks to a quality strike out of keeping with the rest of the game.
Jared Small took his 19thminute goal well, a first-time low drive from 25 yards that found the bottom corner.
Wantage had a couple of forages forward, James Hammond was wide after 27 minutes and Alex Henshall’s effort after 40 minutes had similar inaccuracy.
For Harlow, Alex Read and Tiannie Wilson were unable to keep their attempts low enough to trouble the goal.
