■BEDFORD went four points clear at the top of the division with victory over second from bottom Colney Heath at the Eyrie.
The Eagles were made to work hard by the young visiting side, and Guerin Nimi may have had a couple of goals after constantly running at Bedford.
The experienced home side calmed nerves, though, when a Will Summerfield free-kick was met by Lewis Miccio who nodded home.
