■ SAM O’Halleron struck in the 90th minute to give ten-man Prescot Cables all three points and relegate Kendal Town.
The visitors were the better of the two sides and could have been two or three up at half-time had their strikers taken the chances given to them in the opening half.
Their cause was helped when Cables captain Liam Hollett was shown a first-half red card for two bookable offences.
