■MATTHEW PRICE struck a late winner to maintain Canvey Island’s title hopes.
Canvey forced three early corners to test the home defence. Dereham then initiated a five man move with Adam Hipperson shooting off target, before Toby Hilliard’s effort was blocked.
Home keeper Antoni Bort then raced forward to save at the feet of Evans Kouassi. Hilliard saw a drive saved by keeper Bobby Mason, before Canvey responded with Evans Kouassi blazing over and then Harrison Chatting’s long-range forced Antoni Bort into a fine save.
