■BEDFONT secured a deserved victory at Basingstoke after pulling away in the second half.
Sports took an early lead, Daniel Williams converting from close range, but a well-struck free kick from George Reid levelled matters.
Chances were at a premium, but Williams was left cursing his luck as a lobbed finish bounced back off a post. The second half was more open and the visitors regained the lead when Kevin Diomande’s shot squirmed under Paul Strudley.
