A ROLLERCOASTER encounter saw Leiston score a late penalty to deny playoff hopefuls Rushden.
The clash between fifth and seventh in the table was highly anticipated, as the hosts were seven points clear inside the top five whilst Leiston were looking to improve a record that had seen them lose five of their last six away games.
The visitors were rewarded for their enterprising start when Jake Hutchings bundled in a free-kick after 12 minutes. Diamonds improved as the half wore on and were level through Jordan Graham’s incredible scissor...
