WEYMOUTH played the role of party poopers at the Bob Lucas Stadium, although this rather dour stalemate did little to aid the respective aims of either side.
Home full-back Ben Greenwood went closest to clinching the points with a shot which rattled agaimnst the Grimsby post just before half-time but the sides were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.
