BUXTON’S 13th fixture since last tasting defeat didn’t prove unlucky as they convincingly overcame already relegated Grantham.
Victory confirmed the Bucks’ place at the top of the table and the clean sheet was their ninth in the last 11 games.
The Gingerbreads may be bottom of the league, but performed with professional pride, constantly prompted by superb skipper and play-maker Elliott Durrell.
Buxton netted twice in the opening quarter of the match.
