TIVERTON recovered from an early setback to storm into a commanding half-time lead only to suffer a case of the jitters as Beaconsfield nearly pulled off an unlikely comeback.
Beaconsfield took an early lead after Scott Donnelly calmly chipped James Weeks and efforts by Ollie McCoy and Nathan Minhas really should have seen them three goals to the good before Andy Watkins began the Tivvy fightback after 19 minutes.
Five minutes later Chukwuka Iseguan passed the ball into the net just after Donnelly had hit a post for the home side.
