GOSPORT were brushed aside by a dominant away performance from Westonsuper-Mare. The visitors dominated the first half-hour with a series of chances saved by home goalkeeper Fynn Talley, including shots by Dayle Grubb, Marlon Jackson, and Scott Baird.
At the other end, Gosport saw Harry Kavanagh’s cross flicked into the gloves of away keeper Max Harris by the on-rushing Matt Paterson.
The visitors took the lead after 34 minutes when a clever reverse pass found Sonny Cox in space and he fired past Tally into the top corner.
