■TWO teams fighting for points for different reasons produced a real battle.
While Runcorn Linnets are in the play-off picture, Newcastle continue to battle near the bottom.
The first half had little between the two teams, but it was the visitors took the lead after 56 minutes when centreback Sean O’Mahony headed home a cross from the right.
Iwan Murray fired over for the visitors and Luke Dennis was just wide for Castle.
Runcorn doubled their lead when Eden Gumbs turned a cross home after 83 minutes, but Castle were not finished and Ryan Bax...
