■GOALS time, both coolly converted either side of half- by Domaine Rouse, were enough to ease Ramsbottom United’s relegation worries.
With four consecutive scoreless games behind them, the Rams struggled throughout the first half to string passes together.
Kendal resisted strongly until a defensive lapse let Rouse through on goal after 43 minutes and he opened the scoring with a clinical right-foot finish.
Five minutes after half-time, Rouse latched on to a through ball before rounding the keeper and calmly slotting home.
