■CANVEY Island recorded their biggest ever victory on Saturday, thrashing relegated Romford at Park Lane.
The Gulls found took the lead after only two minutes through Conor Hubble, with Bradley Sach and Mason Hall making it 3-0 on 20 minutes. Hubble then scored the pick of the goals on 29 minutes, curling a free kick into the top corner from 25 yards.
Sach made it 5-0 on the stroke of half time, with Evans Kouassi netting a hattrick and Elliott Ronto also adding his name to the scoresheet.
