■COGGESHALL took the lead after just five minutes when Jack Hayes headed home after a good move.
Wakering’s answer was a move involving Louie Arrowsmith, Jordan Brown and Jaden Crowhurst, who shot wide. Brown suffered a dislocated knee and was replaced by Alex Clark.
Coggeshall had chances to increase their lead through Isaac Skubich, who hit the bar, and Alex Teniola while Wakering’s chances fell to Jake Gordon and Clark.
