EAST Thurrock fought back from two-down to earn a potentially crucial point and extend their unbeaten run to five
Wingate & Finchley led on 17 minutes when Theo Ofori slotted home Matthew Achuba’s pass.
In response, Tom Barton’s effort from Johnny Ashman’s fired-in freekick went just wide.
On the half hour, the Rocks spurned a great chance when Ashman was played in by Olly Coker, but fired wide with only Gate keeper Fergal Hale-Brown to beat.
Then Fergal Hale-Brown saved Barton’s header at the second attempt....
